IPPUDO × DAISHO Plant-Based Paitan Style Hot Pot Soup Base is a Japanese ready-to-use hot pot broth developed in collaboration with IPPUDO.

Paitan is known for its pale, rich and creamy-style soup. Rather than using chicken to create that character, this product uses plant-based ingredients including soya-based ingredients, white miso, vegetables, oils and seasonings to produce a mellow and satisfying broth.

The result is a gentler, creamier alternative to spicy Japanese hot pot soups, making it particularly suitable for vegetables, tofu, mushrooms and noodles.

🌱 Plant-Based Paitan Style
Designed to recreate the rich character of paitan broth using plant-based ingredients.

🥢 No Meat, Fish, Egg or Milk
The front of the packaging clearly states No Meat, No Fish, No Egg and No Milk.

🥬 Ideal for Vegetable Hot Pot
Pairs particularly well with Chinese cabbage, spinach, mizuna, leek, mushrooms, carrots and tofu.

🔥 Ready to Use
Pour the soup directly into your pot and bring to the boil. No initial dilution is required, although water can be added according to personal taste.

🍜 Finish with Paitan-Style Ramen
Add noodles to the remaining broth after your hot pot and simmer until cooked. Finish with your favourite toppings.
